Today, Szaferman Lakind donated $5,000 to the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen (TASK). Like all New Jersey businesses, our firm has been impacted by the Coronavirus. However, we have not lost sight of the fact that those hardest hit in our community are not New Jersey’s businesses and professionals, but the homeless and indigent population.
The Trenton Area Soup Kitchen feeds those who are hungry in the Trenton area and offers programs to encourage self-sufficiency and improve the quality of life of its patrons. While TASK has suspended volunteer and outreach activities and closed their dining room during the outbreak, they continue to serve takeaway meals to individuals and families in Trenton.
The firm hopes to continue to make charitable contributions to other organizations in the coming months, and we encourage our friends and clients to donate to other local charitable organizations who need assistance more than ever during this uncertain time.
