Steven L. Fox

Steven L. Fox is a highly accomplished New Jersey trial attorney with over 34 years of experience in civil litigation. He is well-versed in advising and representing clients in litigated matters at both trial and appellate levels. Steven’s practice is focused on commercial disputes, particularly in providing counsel to management on employment law and commercial legalities. He routinely represents clients in corporate, contract, real property, employment, commercial, and probate disputes.

Certified by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a civil trial attorney—a distinction held by approximately 2% of attorneys in New Jersey—Steven also serves as an arbitrator and mediator for the Superior Court of New Jersey, Middlesex County. In 2019, he received the Middlesex County Robert J. Cirafesi Chancery Practice Award for his significant contributions to the practice area.

Steven is an active member of the Trial Attorneys of New Jersey, having served on the Board of Trustees from 2016 to 2018, and the New Jersey Association for Justice, where he served on the Board of Governors from 2002 to 2003. He is also involved with the New Jersey State Bar Association, Equity Jurisprudence Committee, a graduate of the Seton Hall Inn of Court, and a Senior Counselor with the College of Master Advocates and Barristers. He serves on both the Middlesex County and Monmouth County Chancery Committees. Steven has lectured on various legal education panels, covering topics such as successful depositions and advanced trial techniques, and has been a panelist on employment seminars for management. Admitted to practice in New Jersey State and Federal Courts, the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, New York State Courts, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, and the courts in the District of Columbia, Steven has been published in several reported decisions in the New Jersey Superior Court Reporters and has authored articles for trade journals, NJBiz, and the New Jersey Law Journal.
