Lawrenceville, NJ – Szaferman Lakind is pleased to announce the addition of two distinguished attorneys to our team, enhancing our matrimonial and general litigation departments with their extensive knowledge and leadership.
Jenna Shapiro will be joining Szaferman Lakind as a partner in the matrimonial department. Jenna is an active member of the New Jersey State Bar Association (NJSBA) Family Law Executive Committee. She is also a member of the Monmouth Bar Association Family Law Executive Committee and the Middlesex County Bar Association Assignment Judge’s Family Committee. Additionally, she is a certified 1:40 mediator. Her accolades include being selected to the “Super Lawyers – Rising Stars” list for Family Law in New Jersey from 2012 to 2024 and the “Ones to Watch” list in Family Law in 2020 by Best Lawyers.
We are also welcoming Steven Fox, who will join Szaferman Lakind as Of Counsel, contributing his nearly 35 years of civil litigation experience to our general litigation department. Steven is an accomplished New Jersey trial attorney with extensive experience in civil litigation. Certified by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a civil trial attorney—a designation earned by approximately 2% of attorneys in New Jersey—Steven serves as an arbitrator and mediator for the Superior Court of New Jersey, Middlesex County. In 2019, he received the Middlesex County Robert J. Cirafesi Chancery Practice Award for his outstanding contributions to the practice area.
Steven is a member of the Trial Attorneys of New Jersey, having served on the Board of Trustees from 2016 to 2018, and the New Jersey Association for Justice, where he served on the Board of Governors from 2002 to 2003. He is also a committee member of the New Jersey State Bar Association Equity Jurisprudence Committee, a graduate of the Seton Hall Inn of Court, and a Senior Counselor with the College of Master Advocates and Barristers. He serves on both the Middlesex County and Monmouth County Chancery Committees.
