Have you been injured on the job? You shouldn’t wait to report the injury to your employer.
Even if you don’t believe the injury to be significant, failing to report it in a timely manner can negatively affect your ability to collect benefits to which you should be entitled. The truth is that many injuries take several days or more to manifest symptoms, so you may be more hurt than you know.
You don’t want to find yourself in a position where you are suffering from a significant injury but cannot receive benefits because you did not report it to your employer in the beginning. Notify your supervisor, foreman, or other authority position to ensure they report it to the workers’ comp insurance carrier. The sooner you do so, the better. Make sure it gets reported.
This is an important step to ensure your benefits are not placed in jeopardy in the future. Watch the video to learn more.
